The Vertical Self: An evening with Mark Sayers
Thursday 30 September, 7pm - 9pm
South City Christian Centre, Christchurch. $5 donation at the door.
How can Biblical Faith help us discover who we are in an age of self obsession?
Join Mark as he tells the story of how one man tried to kill cool and ended up discovering holiness. A story which travels from rundown malls in Melbourne to ultra hip districts of Tokyo and ends on a stormy morning in Nashville Tennessee. A journey that begins with an exploration of what our culture means by using the terms cool, sexy and glamour, and ends up wrestling with our quest to redeem our desires and find out who we really are.
