Discipleship in the 21st Century

I recently completed a three week sermon series at St Pauls, Symonds Street in Auckland. The topic was Discipleship in the 21st Century.

I basically made three points over the three weeks. First, we are called to make a difference because we see the world differently because of Christ. Second, we are called to be a people who embody a vision of God’s coming kingdom in the present, for the sake of the wider world. And finally I asked the question, ‘how can we become the type of people who both see the world differently and embody a vision of the kingdom?’ I also told some good stories and some marginal jokes.
