Our Staff
The Compass Foundation has four staff.
After completing a degree in history at the University of Canterbury, Roshan spent over two years working for Maxim Institute’s Tomorrow’s Leaders programme, during which time he became involved in organising and running the first Compass summer conference. In 2006, Roshan left Maxim and with his wife Lottie moved back to Christchurch, where he now manages the Compass Foundation. Roshan can be contacted by emailing roshan@compass.org.nz

Andrew is a top graduate of Regent College’s Master of Christian Studies programme. He is a talented writer and presenter with tremendous integrity, who passionately supports Compass' vision for knowing the gospel, knowing the culture and translating well. Andrew works part time for Compass and is based in Auckland. Andrew can be contacted at andrew@compass.org.nz
Lottie is responsible for all operations for the Compass Foundation. She is married to Roshan and was heavily involved in the first three Compass summer conferences, as well as working with Rod Thompson at Masters Institute's Centre for Worldview. She has a BA in Geography and Japanese from Canterbury University. Lottie can be contacted at lottie@compass.org.nz

Sam studied medicine and bioethics at Otago University before working at Whangarei Hospital and then locuming in Australia. He came to faith there in 2002 and began a gradual career (and salary!) change. He moved back to NZ and joined the pastoral care team at Life Church in Mount Eden. For the last three years he has been Student Dean and lecturer at Life Leadership College, while completing a Masters in Pastoral Theology. He is interested in most aspects of faith and culture - in particular, how individuals establish and enhance a personal spirituality that is stable and sustaining. Sam has been very happily married to Julia since March 2010. He is slowly, and somewhat painfully, learning to kiteboard. Sam can be contacted at sam.bloore@compass.org.nz
