Greg Fleming

As CEO of Maxim Institute, Greg was instrumental in establishing the first Compass summer conference, which ran in January 2004. His involvement has remained critical throughout the years as Compass has grown, and as well as lending Compass considerable personal support as a speaker and fundraiser, he has maintained the link between Compass and Maxim Institute’s internship programme.

Rod Thompson

Rod was a speaker at the first Compass summer conference in his role as Worldview Programme Leader at Masters Institute. He has maintained an active role in shaping the core curriculum and worldview framework of Compass as a speaker and advisor. Rod is also a key connection for Compass to the Christian Schooling movements, having worked as an educationalist on both sides of the Tasman. He is currently Principal of Laidlaw College.

Mike Chisholm

Mike is CEO of Acclipse Ltd, and a key supporter of Compass, providing both financial and business strategy support. With a background in international mission, and a broad interest in media, Mike plays a key role in our ongoing development.

Mark Strom

Mark is CEO of Second Road a strategic consultancy in Sydney, and has a background as a pastor, truck driver and as a mentor and strategic advisor to corporate and civil leaders around Australasia. His background as a Biblical scholar, with an emphasis on the narrative of Scripture and early Christian social and cultural engagement, is a crucial influence in shaping Compass. Mark is married to Sue, and they have three adult children.

David Yates

David is Australian Director of Compass. He has passion to equip and train future leaders to strategically influence the nation. He was previously a strategist with the Department of Defense, and holds a Master of Business Administration specialising in public sector management.

Jeannie Hay

Jeannie has a longstanding involvement in the charitable sector, and has been involved in Compass since the first summer conference in 2004.
